This will be a comprehensive look into Islamic Finance, and will ensure grasping of all concepts required to appreciate the essence of Islam's financial systems.

This full-day seminar will look into the details of the different finance products promoted to the Muslim community as 'Shari’ah-compliant', and provides an evidence- based assessment of them for the general public who are not accustomed to the complex jurisprudential principles and laws guiding finance and trade in the Islamic Tradition. The seminar will include explanation about:

- Underlying Principles of Trade & Loans
- Evidences of Jurisprudential Non-Compliance
- Case Studies of Current Finance Products
- A Way Forward: A Solutions-based Proposal

This seminar will be run by Imam Afroz Ali, of Al-Ghazzali Center. Imam Afroz has run this workshop many many times both in Australia and New Zealand, as well as other locations.
